weight and size of crate for shipping motor

about what size of crate LxWxH and what is the weight of a 6.5 any one that just got a motor

Mine had steel legs bolted to it and was bolted to a hardwood pallet about 4 feet square. also wrapped in shrink wrap. I don't know the weight other than heavy.

Hmmm. I'm trying to remember. I think somewhere right around 1,000lbs. I don't know where I put my dock receipt. It fit on a standard skid.

That sounds better than my guess. I'm pretty sure mine weighed in a bit over 1,000lbs, but that includes the enclosed crate plus some old parts that were sent sent back with it.
