I replaced the wastegate. Solenoid on my 1996.6.5turbo. White smoke came out of the exsuse pipe and a tiny bit out of the turbo I'm new to this please help

I just posted on your other thread of truck not starting with questions. We need more background. Did it run until you changed it? Is truck new purchase and trying to get it running?

Smoke out of the turbo is not good.
Did it come from between the exhaust manifold and the turbo ?
Did it come from between the exhaust manifold and the turbo ?
