VW507 Spec?

Have you got anything that meets VW507 in a 5W40? M-1 ESP and Castrol SLX LL03 are the only ones I can fnd locally, but they're both 5W30.

I, like everyone else, only have 5w-30 in the vw507.00

VW 507 requires not only a Low-SAPS Formulation, (SAPS refers to sulfated ash, phosphorus and sulfur), but also a lower viscosity than was appropriate before with the prior 50x series.

Other non 507 motor oils can harm the DPF.

Thanks. I know they're anal about using oil that meets 507.00.

I'll be in touch... going to change the oil in this thing around the 5k mark and then will let the dealer handle it after that since scheduled maint is included.
