Turbo Louder With Full EGR Delete?

I did the Full EGR Delete on my Truck Yesterday, went for a Test Drive and the Turbo is def. Louder now. I can Hear it Spool more.

I Checked as best as I could, and from what I could See / Find, there are no Leaks at any of the Connections.

I'm thinking it will be Louder though, since the Thick Cast Pieces were Replaced by a Thin Aluminum Piping.

Does that Sound right?

Sounds about right. The EGR cooling manifold would act as a damper I would think. Gonna post up some pics and discussion about the job?

I went with this one because you don't have to Modify the A/C Port like you do with others.

Did you take the resonator out at the same time? I know my 01 spools up pretty noticeably and 01 didn't have a resonator on it. Take it you put in a federal up pipe?

Yea, I Yanked the Resonator a few Weeks after I got the Truck.

Nope, no Fed Up-Pipe, just Capped the EGR Port with one that has a Tab to Support it so the Bellow won't Blow Out.

I got this Kit: http://www.mkmcustoms.com/chevygmcduramaxlbzegrdeletekit.aspx and Used whatever Pieces the Delete Pipe didn't come with to get the Job done.
