Anybody runnin both?

What program and setting with medium upgrades? See sig

Why looky there,Ol Hoot. Been a while since I seen you anywhere. Lots of guys are running both. I would if I had a Goat. GotJuice runs both I think.

Thanks. I've been strong on the Dodge forums. I like this better than TDP because it caters to more than one brand exclusive and there are a bunch of old friends joining up.

Run both, I ran the smarty on the upper numbers and TST down really low. Granted I had the stock clutch still. But everyone I know loves that stack and runs the smarty on 8 or 9 and leaves the TST around the 3's or 4's

What are you guys seeing MPG wise out of the Smarty and do you have any dyno #'s? My buddy is looking at one for his 07 5.9.

I just loaded mine tonight. Tried 6 just to see what it did. Man does it wake up the low end big time. I love it. I upgraded to Revo tonight. Raining and wet roads so I can't do too much. Maybe tomorrow I'll go up to 8 or 9.

SMARTY TNT Race is a great tune, a little thirsty though.

The Regular TNT is based on Beta 4.4

I see 20 us mpg empty

I did 426 on Beta 4.4
Still stock turboed with that number, and stock intake and exhaust.

Right now, my SOTP meter tells me 475 RW (clutch limited) and 900 lbsft.

Thanks Juice.

I dynoed 423/810 consistently before the mechanical mods and only the TST box.

The new turbo is funny how differently it does EGT's. Just like I was told, you run a little hotter (700-800) with light driving. The heat hangs a little more in the 500-600 range than cools at idle to the 300 range. The stainless housing is supposed to help it retain heat but my probe is pre turbo. But the big difference is she doesn't jump up (heat) fast when you lay on the power. I peg my boost gauge at 40. I guess the stock sensor that the TST reads from is limited to 40. The Goerend likes the power. Shifts like a dream. I never would have expected to actually like the way my 48RE works but now I'm impressed.

Hoot, sorry, I forgot to add that the HP number was with SMARTY only on level 5. And that was with the stock charger.

What I really like about the SMARTY is the low end, extended RPM range and the fuel economy.

The TST is kinda flat down low, and runs hotter EGT's compared to it.

But stacked is a mean combo!

I had the cummins thing before I bought my Duramax. I had a TST Powermax CR on it. The box was the earlier model without the twin setting and those, it just had 9 stages on torque and horsepower. My truck would push 48psi on 9/9 but it ran DANG HOT! I believe it ran so hot because of not having a FASS system. The box performed well for me, enough power to cost me a stock clutch.
The Smarty/TST stack is starting to catch on around here, I bet it is mean. I haven't talked to too many that are running it to know what levels to use. I understand that the odd levels on the Smarty are stackable.
I also talked to someone this weekend who did a diode mod?, to his TST box to help the fueling down low. It definately smoked alot off the line(pulling a sled), unlike any TST I have seen.

I'm running the Smarty(SW # 2)/TST was (3/3) now (2/1) stack.

I like it a lot. Beware what the companies say about power settings and stock transmissions; even with the low settings I'm running I'm pretty sure my clutches are fried.

I dynoed this weekend with the new mods.

541/1035

Smarty on 9 TST on 3/0 TST on 4/0 the power came down.

Now I'm thinking I should have loaded TNT

If you send me a VIN number I can get you the TNT-Race version.

You need valvesprings and studs though. Fuel to 4200 rpms.....:cornut:
