truck won't start

i changed the batteries on my 2002 duramax and now it wo't start, it turns over just won't start. any ideas........thanks....tim
 
Maybe the VAT system was enabled somehow?
 
VAT stands for Vehicle Anti-Theft system. Most likely thats not the case just because you changed the batteries. However I have see stranger things happen. Like Vrabel said, you don't have an aftermarket alarm or anything like that on the truck do you? One thing you could try is turn the key on, attempt to start the truck, then leave the key in the on position for ten minutes. After ten minutes pass cycle the key and attempt to star the truck again.
