making a trip in late august/early september time frame if anybody needs something transported. traveling from Ogden Utah (north of Salt Lake City) down to Midland Texas and later to San Antonio and possibly Dallas. truck is an 87 chevy dually with a gooseneck and standard trailer hitch.

If you want to meet up and have lunch/dinner in early Sept I will be home for R&R.

I would like to check out your truck!

where would yall want to meet up at exactly? still plenty of time to get it setup. san antonio, austin, somewhere in that area would be pretty good.

I am good just about anyplace, I will be home from Afghanistan during this time.

I will more than likely have the wife and kids with me, hope you do not mind.

I doubt I will ever even get a chance to get out of her sight since I have been away by then for almost 6 months.

One of the Rudy's BBQ places would not be a bad place to stop at. Stop there have some awesome food and BS.

i've got no problem with your family joining us, familiar with the deployment part as well (will have just returned from Iraq).

Rudy's BBQ sounds good, i dont know their locations though so an address will need to be posted up.

Just let me know the time, date and location and I will try to be there.

I will be home 1 - 15 September.

Rudy's sounds good to me.

date is looking like around the 12-14th of sept if that works for yall. easily flexible for me.

might not be driving the k30, depends on if i get the cummins swap done in the weeks before i leave. if not it will either be the 95 yukon (6.5L) or the donor dodge truck.

looks like i'm gonna be missing this, found out that my shop is undermanned so soon as my comp time is up sep 10th i'm back to work.
