Transmission wont shift out of 1 gear

I have a 98 Chevy K 1500 shy and for work for will not shift out of 1st gear replaced all the ships Illinois to iron harness all looked cool ports on and eat the Pan still won't shift out of 1st gear no check engine light

I imagine that the auto correct mode on Your device has really messed up Your post.
Would You like to turn off that auto correct thing and try again ?

Whew- thought it was the medicine I am on. Reread that 4 times and couldn’t get it.

Also, please add details in your signature about your truck so we know if we are dealing with diesel or gas engine, manual or auto trans, etc.
Listing any aftermarket modifications helps as well. We’d love to get you help.
