my dad just got a new kr f250 and wants a tonneau for it. the dealer wants $1450 for the all metal version from pace edwards. i told him i could probably find a better product for less, anyone got any ideas?

I have an Undercover on my truck, and really like it. It is sturdy (you can stand on it), and is very easy to remove. It only weighs 65 pounds.

I bought it over 4 years ago, and want to say that it was in the neighborhood of $500 or so.

@jackh There are so many different variations of the Tonneau Cover available these days. Your dad want the all metal version? I personally prefer the the Bakflip G2 that I purchased for my f150. They say that is not supposed to rust. So far it has been holding up exrtemely well. I got mine for around $700 bucks. $1450 seem rather high
