I put a sig in - can I help it if the system does not want to recognize it. As to birth certificate, I am so old they didn't use them then nor was one required when I first sneaked across the border - in 1956 from the USA to Tijuana to see the enticing show at the famed Blue Fox. In those days, you could just walk across the old bridge without showing ID nor show ID to come back.
