I dont have the timing marker for harmonic balancer (missing) really dont wanna pull valve cover off to time this rascal. Is there a way to do it without tearing it down farther ?

Because the chain is sloppy used to be and it is off a tooth with the cam gear being at 6 and the crank gear being at 12. I have autoenginuity software to do injection timing I'm just trying to get timing chain issues repaired

If the timing chain is sloppy loose then it could make the IP appear to be off a tooth, possibly.
Be best to get the TC and sprockets replaced before doing anything with the IP timing.

I have to do timing gear gears and chain set. I'm not trying to worry with the injection timing yet.
