That "quick disconnect" on the thermostat housing

The QC fitting snapped...Flush...:mad2: What are the odds that someone named Murphy would run into some bad luck?? :errr:
I'm thinking a pipe nipple remover might work...
I wonder how much the stealer wants for a new housing?

...don't know how much the stealer would want for the housing, but you could give Peninsular a call if you need one. You might be pleasantly surprised at the cost of one of their new take-offs. ...dual housing, two thermostats, sensor and outlet neck.

Just got off the phone with them...
About 140 or so for the entire assembly, thermostats and all, plus 15 give or take for shipping, and I'd get it in two days...I'm probably going this route.
Edit - the stealer gets $216 for just the lower housing that bolts to the heads. Then I'd need new t-stats and such. Tomorrow I'll definitely be calling Penninsular...

I looked at that one but by the time you added shipping to it the cost was more than having the parts store order it.

Didn't consider about the shipping...as when I order from the US delivered to the door it about 1/3 of the price what I will have to cough up here....I'll have to start putting myself in your shoes guys...:thumbsup:
