anybody got a cheap and easy way to check one. I know I'm producing boost(aleast a pound or so) but the needle doesn't budge. it's a 0-30lbs gauge. a little hard to setup the turbo with it.:rolleyes5: the other possibility is the wastegate had alot of soot/carbon around it so it may not be sealing tight. just trying to eliminate possibilities.:mad2:

If you got an Air Compressor you can Shoot some Air into the Line. Or even a Bicycle Air Pump should Create enough Pressure to Move the Needle.

I know it's closed(mechanical setup) but I'm wondering if it sealed tight enough. there's enough carbon still in there to be an issue. is there anything in there to hurt from high heat. just thinking about cooking the section in a kiln.
