Somebody took mine out with a forklift yeaserday. Luckily for him he didn't touch the paint and just broke the plastic handle.

Does anyone make a real metal handle?

It seems like my gate has taken a beating lately and it holds uppretty good. I have seen it flex in about an inch and bounce out.

I think I will be making some kind of protector for it when I get a chance.

It seems like they are all chrome covers. I don't really want the chrome. I may just get a oem replacement.

I did see a nice one there but it wasn't for my truck or any chevy.
