So my dad asked me about a problem with his truck that I need your guys help with.

2006 Chevy LS 1500 5.3

The front speakers wont work for about the first 30 minutes of driving, then they will suddenly start working. No static sounds, just like someone flipped a switch. When the are working the are functioning just fine. Messing with the radio/speaker controls doesn't do anything. It's the basic factory radio w/ CD player.

Is this an issue with the BCM or radio itself? What do you guys think? It doesn't seem like a mechanical issue, more of a signal control issue.

thanks
