spare tire

will a bf goodrich 265 75r16 all terrain fit in the spare tire area with mbrp 5 inch exhaust.

thats hit or miss depending on the truck. it might be real tight. if I ran 265s on my truck the exhaust would probably rub. I have the 5 inch on my truck

Hmm... it might rub. My 4 inch is pretty close to my spare and it is a 265 as well. Could measure for you if you want, just let me know.

yeah i just looked at it some more and its close i actually held it up there and it forsure looked like it was gonna rub but the 265 was not on the spare rim just held it up there. i just put new rubber on( do to miss allighnment cause of cranked torsion bars) and saved the best tire from the old set. i also just thought of this! my ats diff cover would probably be covered more. well thanx for the replies but the 245 is staying on. i only worry in case i get a flat and wreck my gears do to a smaller tire.

I was under there putting in my exhaust and installing my new diff cover and I was surprised I always thought my spare was the same as my stock rims Aluminum. Its a steel spare guess I was hoping for the best.
