Shew...I cant imagine his EGT's during that...I bet they were every bit of 2000 degrees...And then some.

Actually I dont think wes quite hits 2,000 degrees.
I wanted to pull with my fender liners out this year so that I could see how red my manifolds got with the 2,100*+ temps I was running.
They withstand it because as stated they are strong and thick.
