Does any one know if the snail shell (heat shield) on the turbos the same or are the diffrent from each other. I bought a gm8 that does not have one.

IIRC correc tly they are the same for each series of turbos. All GM8s are the same all GM3s are the same, etc. So you will need one off of a GM8 to fit.
 
Well Chevyinlinesix I was thinking the samething. I've tried my local yards and nothing I guese we can ask here. Does any one know where we could pick up a snail shell for the gm8 turbo?
