Slight tick or knock from turbo on my 6.5 diesel

Hey there im hearing a slight ticking or knocking coming from my turbo and there isoil present should i be concerned

Take off the air intake boot and see if there is play in the turbo shaft bearings.

Never heard a turbo make a tick or knock. Now I've heard plenty of ticking sounds come from around the turbocharger assembly. Usually a tick can be heard in the cab real bad when the heater hose tube comes in contact with an injection line, near the turbo. Will make you think your engine has developed a knock or tick when all that's happening is the pulse from an injection line is resonating into the cab through the heater line.

Check this stuff first.
