I worked with a welder who used it on his welding rig. He told me he had spent about 5K on his truck, paint and chrome stacks, etc. He was being pulled into the bush way up north by a cat. The ruts were so deep his truck fell on it's side and the cat operator didn't notice and pulled him for about a 1/4 mile. He now uses Tremclad (Rustoleum)
Well, havent been back for a while. My 97 got totalled and I bought it back, put a new bed on it which was blue. I scuffed it with 180, laid down two coats of thinned black rustoleum, and thats as far as Igot with it. It needs wetsanding and a couple more coats, but I've just been driving it and probably have to take it thru another winter that way. Doesn't look too good with mismatched doors, but it's good enough for a plowtruck.

this is what I'm doing for wheels. I may switch them around with the other 1 ton, it's got stainless simulators and Chevy centercaps. But for now I like it on this truck.
