I'm going to update from a 8 wheel V rake to a rotary rake..

I found a Claas 370T for just under 3000.$

I have several small weird shaped fields and very heavy fescue grass that my V rake doesn't like at all, I half to rake the same row twice just to get it not all clumped up... I hate the V rake on these fields......

The place also has a Kunn ? Going to look tomorrow and might have more questions ...

Anyone use a rotary rake ????

Got any pics? I use H&S 12 wheel hy-capacity and a Vermeer hyd rake.

The Vermeer does better on corners, the wheel rake will move more material.

Not yet, I googled it but I'll have a pic of the 2 different ones late tomorrow if I can get down their to have a look.. not many around here use them yet, a LOT still use the rolla bar things that were around long ago....

The wheel rake does good in light hay and bigger fields but I make hay for myself and tend to give it more than it really needs but my horses like the good stuff so it's all good me thinks, I just hate the way it ropes the windrows...
