Ring Gap Clearance?

Ring gaps:
top 0.26-0.51 mm
2nd 0.75-1.00 mm
oil 0.25-0.51 mm
These are on new bores
[numbers from 95 GM service manual]
Are you shure you don't want the piston to bore measurements? They vary depending on the cylinder[#7 and #8 are looser]

Sure if you could get me the Bore mesurments that would be great. I had the block bored out to fit .030 over pistions but they seem looser then the last engine I built. I'm just hoping the machine shop dident take to much out. But anyways I'm going to measure it all up this evening to be sure before I put it all together.

Piston to bore clearance:
Bores 1-6 .094-.120 mm
Bores 7and 8 0.107-0.133mm
That kind of tells you something about the lack of cooling in the rear cylinders, doesn't it.
I bought 2- 6.5s from the same guy 4 months apart. They both cracked #8 pistons and were rebuilt with less than 2000 miles on them. My guess was that "the rebuilder " didn't clearance the rear pistons looser than the rest.
