I believe that SCAT cranks are suppose to be the best crank you can easily get a hold of.

Scat is the best replacement dollar for dollar. Cast steel, not cast iron. There was talk of making a forged one, but not as of yet from them. Peninsular might have insight of locating a forged one though. Hope this helps.

Peninsular sells forged cranks. They're right around $950 or so.

Scat is what I used on my project engine, Ratman aka Rich has been running his Scat for about 6 mos now, good crank for the money
