My friend wants to remove his factory DPF and exhaust for a more free flowing system. Any basic needs to keep the truck running right like from the factory?

A tuner such as PPE, quad or SCT. EFI Live would be the best choice if he has time to play with it.
Basically after deleting it you need some sort of a way to override the system and trick the computer into thinking the DPF is running normal and is never plugging up.

uhh so where is this so called stand alone system. They dont show it on their website. Its their tuner that you have to run.
