Radiator Flush - ?

I need to flush the radiator, and was wondering where you guys find Dex-cool at reasonable prices. I live out in the sticks, and the local farm and home stores only carry the green stuff.

I hate to pay a dealer for coolant that might be available cheaper elsewhere.

No local parts houses, but I did call the nearest NAPA (15 miles up the highway) and they said that they could order it for me.

walmart, kmart or anything of the like around? Maybe get something from Ashton thats comparable and get it shipped? Most of the green stuff says it mixes with all types and colors now so thats what Ive done. It seems most the 6.5ers dont like dexcool so i flush mine and ad the compatable green. right or wrong I dont know

I took mine to the dealer since I didn't want to deal with the mess of 24 quarts and getting a good flush. None of the regular places like STS or R&S had the adapters to connect to the radiator hose. Went back with the Dex.

Get Prestone Mixes-With-Any. It doesn't have the sludge, etc. issues Dex has.
