I have a Holset HX35 Hybrid with a Banks Quick Turbo Housing, The HX40II was getting alittle too much side to side movement and I wasn't comfortable using it, I got a Rebuild kit for it so thats why its not on the truck and apart
how many miles did you have on the CKO turbo and how did you determine it was failing? Do you have a thread posted on your new combo? Are you liking it better or same as the CKO?

Well the first one I got was too sloppy right out of the box, so I sent it back for a "rebuild" the one I got back wasn't the one I sent him, But it was better so I ran it for about 6k miles, It was never loose enough to rub but I am pretty anal about things and It just didn't feel right, I am planning on towing the 5th wheel cross country so I have to be able to sleep knowing I am ahead of the game, I will be carrying the CKO as a spare after I go thru it, I never made a new thread about my switch, But its a PDR HX35 Hybrid with the Banks Housing, I have about $1200 bucks into it as it sits But it works like a dream, smooth spools real quick, Quicker than the CKO and pulls as hard if not harder, my EGTs are a little lower than the CKO, but I did a complete a complete Cooling R&R New Rad, Thermostats, all new hoses, and severe duty Fan clutch, again for piece of mind
