The PS pump on the suburban is leaking. My sons went to AZ and got one. The problem is the existing pump has an electric sensor on the back and the new one does not. It is a molded piece, it can't be removed. Anyone know the correct part number and or is there an issue with using the pump without the sensor?

I disconnected mine. It's called Evo and it was such an issue they actually make a kit to get rid of it. Probably be just as cheap at this point to change the high pressure hose to an older year that didn't have it.

Thanks guy's! So what you are saying is I can take the HP hose from my 95 sierra that I'm rebuilding the motor on to fit into the pump at the same location as the EVO?
