Have an 06 2500 that is losses power. Did change the fuel filter and censor that is on the filter. Was fine for about 60 miles but problem came back. He led codes again to find that the same one was back which is low fuel rail pressure, and a new code that said no communication with power train. On a trip and not a lot of options. Trying to fix myself if possible

If its a plastic Wix fuel filter: the fuel filters suck air around the WIF threads. EPIC FAIL filter from Wix had the WIF sensor falling clean out of the filter. Use a metal body filter.

Otherwise look for a leaking primer or cracked filter head that can suck air.

Ok did replace filter can’t remember what kind it was no a wiz though. Will check for leakage. Thank you for responding
