Power chip for 91 Burb

Been working on a 91 Burb 1500 4x4

Has 350 TBI engine/700R4

The plan is to do a 6.2 diesel swap but the cost and time to get everything ready to go is going to be outside the time frame that I have planed for the coming summer.

Thinking about doing a quicky refresh on the 350 to get rid of heavy oil usuage (quart in 300 miles)

Runs great but uses way to much oil.

Now

There is no doubt some good power chips out there.

Any input on a plug and play chip for this beast. ???????

www.fullsizechevy.com has a pretty good forum for the older gasser TBI's and who has what for them. SUMMIT has a cheap cam that they say wakes em up pretty good with a set of shorty small tube headers. Top it off with some extreme TBI mods and you'll have a peppy 350 that will get semi-decent milage.

I used a PCM and a TB from a 91 454 along with tri-y headers, with a bigger Y-pipe and a custom 3" exhaust with a highflow cat...... still passed emissions in Spokane and made it snappier.....
