His is different. He has a 93 k3500 4x4. It has a different a/c compressor. You know, I forgot to tell him but hec ould actually lose the vac pump and use a shorter belt. He has a TM.

Duh...That truck had no Vac pump. I just realized, when I put the TM on it had a spring actuated waste gate already. Yep only thing on pass side is the a/c compressor IIRC correctly. I had wanted to take pics of everything before we disassembled but time did not allow. I only had one day to donate as I was visiting a friend who is fighting for his life with stage 3 cancer. If he had stock wheels I could possibly have trailer-ed the truck up here to finish.

Just remember that big cast bracket goes on the drivers side and the engine lifting hook goes underneath it. If you look carefully at the old motor you can probably see an outline of how it went. Also like I said in the email the two waterpump studs on that side may need to be switched.The pwer steering pump then goes on. It has IIRC 2 studs that go into the cast bracket and maybe 1-2 bolts / and also there is a bolt that goes in on the side of the engine blocknear the oil pan. It should line up and be obvious. In fact you were missing that bolt from previous owner but the bolt from the new motor should be with all the hardware I bagged up. If not it's an m8 I think.

Also remember that you need to take the nut back off on the drivers side of the IP to get the throttle cable bracket back on. I left that one loose.

Hope this helps, here is the belt diagram sticker mounted under the hood;

He beat me to it. Here are a few more that might show some other detail. I believe he is installing the serp/bracket system right?

He got the alt and ps on. Thanks to everyone. If you guys could post a few more pics from different angles of the a/c pump he's almost home with this thing.

Thanks for all the help. He was able to get the motor back together. Made a few mistakes but got it. Unfortunately the junkyard screwed him. The motor is blowing antifreeze into the coolant jug and smoking bad ...:suicide:
