Well, I finally picked my truck up today from getting my Stereo Installed, sooo, here are the pics.

Needless to say, when I wanna crank it, you can hear my vocals WORD-FOR-WORD from 1.5 Miles away, Crystal Clear and VERY warm & sharp sounding.

Looks like a lot of power WOW!Nice system I bet it does sound awesome and probably cost a few bucks.Does it get a little warm in the back seat lol?

Yea, it's a crazy amount of power. The 6.5's are 150w rms (100db sensitivity), the 10's are 350w rms (101db sensitivity), and the Bullets are 500w rms (112db sensitivity). It's true rms ratings though, Beyma's handle dumb amounts of power and get LOUD. They aren't for the faint of heart.

And the Zapco's, when compared to other amps, they are equal to amps that put out 3x as much power. For example. a Zapco that is rated at 100x2 @ 4ohms is comparable to other amps that put out 300x2 @ 4ohms.

Amps only get slightly warm to the touch. Another nice thing about them if the "Volume Dependent" Fans. The higher you turn up the volume, the faster the fans blow, it's pretty sweet.

jeeeeezuss.... i hope you can still hear a week from now. i wanna stuff all that in my reg cab.... suggestions... :p:D

...Well after spending most of today tuning all the Amps and settings on the h701 Processor I must say this Stereo sounds absolutely incredible.

The first comment everyone says, ranging from adults to high school kids, is how clear it sounds. You can hear every detail in the songs, and hear things in the songs you never knew were there.

And kick-drums or any type of really snappy bass just punch you in the back, it feels like a band is performing in the bed of my truck.

It's not boomy or bassy at all. All the Mids are playing from 61hz and up. That's the lowest it'll play and it grabs the lows down to 61hz with major authority.

I might of missed it but what head unit are you running?

The Zapcos are sweet, and have been for the past 25 years....

I running the new W505 Alpine. The 1 thing I absolutely LOVE about it, is you can run 2 iPods. You can use the regular Alpine High Speed Cable to 1 iPod, then the w505 comes with a new USB Style hookup for another iPod, or you can use a USB Flash drive and get the music off of that. And both Cables charge the iPod, and all that stuff. Only the USB style Cable will display Album Artwork though.

And the Zapco's are out of this world. I've used pretty much 1 Amp from every Car Audio company out there and these are hands down the best I have ever used. They are well worth the money.

How many cubic feet of airspace do those subs require? Looks like there isn't much volume to those boxes. Did you use a filler?

They are playing IB, or Free Air. There is a Top, Bottom, and Sides on the Enclosure, but no back. The Speakers are extremely stiff and don't even come close to bottoming out when I crank it.

They aren't really Subs, they are Mid Bass Speakers. They will play clean, tight and accurate down to 70hz. Playing below 70hz isn't recommended, although I have had them down into the 40's and they sounded fine.

Gotcha. I thought they were subs. Stereo looks great. I thought of doing the door pod things to hold two 6.5" components but ran out of money. $300/pair for speakers adds up quick

Frickin sweet man..what would a set up like this run me? or are there cheaper options that aren't a waste of money?

Installation & labor alone ran $4k. There are DEF. other options out there that will run wayyy cheaper than this install.

I just like to run the "best of the best", so this particular install would run you (not getting any money knocked off the price of the Amps or Speakers) over $15k (Equipment, Labor, Fabrication, ect...). I payed mayyybe $7000-7500 total for everything(Head Unit, Amps, Speakers, Installation, ect...).

But in the end it is well worth it. It's crystal clear at any volume level and plays with the most intricate detail you will ever hear in a Car Audio System.

You can't tell where the sound is coming from, it's like it's beyond Surround Sound.

I'm more of a stock guy...but Sweet dude it must make people in the streets go :willynilly:

O yea, people of all ages around here love it. Some may still say it's too loud, but one thing they can't deny is how clear and clean it sounds.

...and it's different too. I've done the loud Bassy Stereo's, I've set records and hold State Records, but I'm done with that "type" of Stereo, ya know? I mean hell, anyone can put Bass in their Vehicle and make it loud, might not sound good, def. will piss ALOT more people off, but how many people can put ONLY Mid-Bass, Vocals & Highs in their Vehicle, and (if need be) be heard from just as far away or even farther than a Vehicle full of Subs rattling it apart? ;) :)
