Anyone replaced the entire parking brake cable, mainly the front section ? How hard/easy is it to do on a 93....

I just did the back 2 on my 98, the front didn't look too hard going by my service manual. I think 93-98 would be the same.
I have all of them & the balance thing for the rear, I haven't looked at the manual just yet, kinda hope it's easy, I'm doing the rear disc conversion and the manual parking brake caliper, and my original cables are shot so I guess it's new axle seals, bearings, and cables time...

On a related note. The Tahoe was parked for several years with the parking brake on.
I believe it will be stuck when and if I ever get to it. Any thoughts on how to go about loosening it up.?

More likely the shoes will be rusted to the drum along with the hardware. The cable is plastic lined and not as suseptable to rust

I never had to replace a forwards cable afore. I do not believe there would be too much difficulty in doing it.
