In 05 Suburban. Rough idle all of a sudden yesterday. Pulled the code and seems to point to Bank 1 position 1 which should be driver side before catalytic convertor if I am not mistaken.

Is that a 2131702 o2 sensor?

Friend Bob has a 2005 GMC, smaller than Suburban.
Dont remember what its brand name is, Envoy maybe.
His had a misfire. He took it to the dealer and twice tjey said they had it fixed. Cost him a lot of money.
Misfire was not fixed.
Somewhere on the web he read an article in some troubleshooters blog about the Envoy having this misfire problem and what He found to be the fix.
He got his battery tested. Battery was functioning just fine but it failed the battery test, i think it was one of them computerized battery testers.
New battery, cleared codes and that fixed that guys misfire.
That is what fixed Bobs misfire too.
Might give that a shot.
Possibly a dead cell in the battery. Hydrometer could determine that.
