I decided to change the thermostat while at work, and got confused with the direction of the thermostat the first time I put it on, tightened it, saw that it was leaking, took it apart, tried it again, wouldn't tighten tight, so I took it apart, and tried it again and it snapped off. So....now my g/f's dad is driving over here to pick me up...but I REALLY don't want to buy a stealership part AGAIN!!

the housing connected to the lower bolt. The lower bolt is tight with the lower part of the housing still attached.
