Hi guys and gals
Recently I replaced the optical sensor on my 94 6.5 TD. when I put the new one in i thought i had it lined up the old one. The truck runs great but couple days ago i hooked up to an empty horse trailer and the temp took off to 230+. I know it could be a bad thermostat, but got thinking could the optical sensor if not in right position cause it to run hot? An if so what position should it be?
