gentleman's agreement - NO SNATCHING until i call it.

opinions please.
3 rd owner, had it for a year, no records but PO claimed injectors replaced at 90k miles. he did pull a carfax when he bought it.
does not blow smoke, so I assume stock programming.

seller claims it runs and drives perfect with no issues.

what do you guys think ?

kbb says ~ $19k in good condition.

only considering because i cannot find a 06-07 5.9l QCDually Cummins to save my life.

Autotrader, Cars.com and search tempest for CL has some QC dually for sale around 500 mile of AZ. I am looking as well but SRW.

A buddy of mine just picked up a 2006 Dodge mega cab dually with a 5.9 Cummins and 6 speed 4X4 for under $20,000. I think it had around 120,000 miles on it.

They are easy to find here in Texas!

That GMC doesn't look too bad. Stacks look decent compared to most, and the Banks programming (if it has it) is designed around no smoke. I know GB himself hates smokey diesels.

That truck has had a tuner on it of some sort. You can see on the stacks a soot ring going down about an inch from the top of them. Stock programming will not hardly puff smoke, so I would guess it had a PPE on it which is a really smoky tuner. Also stacks wil ldrive you nuts in SHORT order unless you enjoy exhaust drone in teh cab and black water blowing all over your truck after a rain.

you guys are forgetting i have some VERY strict requirements the first being ;

NO DEALERS. ever.

and

vehicle can never have been smoked in.
ever.

that eliminates 90% of the trucks out there.

i have been conduction nationwide searches since i sold mine - i picked that up from Phoenix, AZ !!!

they might be easy to find in texas but they most likely were also ridden hard and put away wet ;-)
some of the trucks i saw in texas looked like homeless shelters inside - you people put trucks to work ;-)
i just baby my vehicles and occasional towing duty......
