There is a little check valve that goes inside the block where the oil filter goes. Anyone know what it is. I found an oil filter bypass valve on Rockauto. Not sure if this is it.

Yup. What Twisted Steel said. I once replaced a set of those, didnt cure the problem though. A very slight sound like a lifter ticking, turned out to be a spun rod bearing. 🤷‍♂️😖😩😹😹😹😹
