Thanks for inspiring
Use
www.yousendit.com, guys
It's a free short-term hosting service. You sign up for it, use it to send the vids to CR, and he gets an email with a download link.
I use it all the time for sending big stuff.
Aww, c'mon JiFaire, -there ain't nuthin' that's truly FREE! (just twistin' yur tail) <G>
I'm thinking maybe it'd be a good idea to use a hotmail e-mail address for somethin' like that (to avoid getting spammed when they sell my e-mail address)
Rigger, I found two more videos on my home PC
burnout 007.mov (6.07M)
Chicago2.wmv (16.0M)
I loaded 'em on my flashdrive tonight, -will take in to work tomorrow. Hopefully the IT guy is there on Wednesday so I can get all four of 'em up for ya.
If not, I'll certainly entertain the idea of the free host thing, -whatever works.
Rigger, -by the way, for whatever it's worth, those videos are what kept me going during my trying buildup (that I had to do twice thanks to carelessness and a damn shop rag).
Thanks for the inspiring videos (from both you and Chicago). And while I'm giving credits, I also have to mention several others. Tim was waaay more than supportive, -often calling me to check up on how the project was going. I also have to mention Robyn from the page. That is one gal who knows her 6.5's, -and is one of the most outgoing people I've met. Matt at Peninsular has always been a phone call away, and offered up advice willingly, despite me only ever spending a measly $75 there. Bill Heath and the gang up North at Heath Diesel for also lending tech support and advice. DieselPro and gmctd from the place, who also offered up advice.
Come to think of it, I haven't ever met a fellow 6.5'er who wasn't willing to help. That in itself was one of the main reasons I decided to push ahead and get my rig back on the road, without all of you, I probably would have thrown in the towel long ago. We definitely are a unique breed of hands-on get it done people.
Much appreciation to all!
