My truck starts out in 2nd and stays there. I have checked for 12 volts (ignition on) at pin "E" on transmission and it is good

Tested as follows

1-2 solenoid resistance (a to e pins range 20-40 ohms) was 22.4 ohms, good

2-3 solenoid resistance (b to e pin range 20-40 ohms) was 22.4 ohms, good

pcs solenoid (c to d range 3.5-8 ohms) was 4.5 ohms good

tcc solenoid (e to s range 20-40 ohms) was 11 ohms bad

I added some trans conditioner to see if maybe one solenoid is stuck (I suspected the 1-2 solenoid)

Codes 81, 82, and 83 are coming up and if I clear them they come right back without even driving it.

This is our daily driver so I need to get it fixed asap. Any body have any ideas?

Thanks in advance, Bob

update info

Mine is always in second. I have GMTD Scantech and can make it shift by

1) turning 1-2 solenoid off and on
2) turning 2-3 solenoid off and on
3) by using gear up and down control

As soon as I "Resume normal TCM control" back to 2nd gear. Maybe TCM or heaven forbid my Heath Prom. The fact I get codes 81, 82, and 83 maybe the harness inside the pan took a dump. I am debating on ordering a solenoid and harness kit, changing fluid and filter and adding some Lubeguard. Lot of money, if the tranny is toast.
