Newest addition to my diesel stable

Three cylinder, picked it up yesterday for $250 bucs, couldn't pass it up. It fired up with a little starting fluid coaxing ran good but will need a little TLC couple of tires, new muffler, the mower deck is a little thin in couple of places...

Have no book with it, anyone know what motor it might have or a guess to the manufacturer?

BUT that's defiantly not a 6.5! I'm sure the mods' will come around and find a good home for this thread sooner or later.

Soooooo, how's the mower working out for you? Any new photos? Those 3 cylinder diesels are a pretty stout motor. There were a few companies that were making them. Lombardini, John Deere and Kubota are a few that come to mind.

Great!

The motor has been flawless & only required an oil change & new fuel filter. Has used zero oil the battery looks old but is hanging in there...

The 60" deck needed some attention couple of small plates welded & couple new bearings along with 2 new belts.

This diesel mower will cut 2 acres of grass at WOT on about 2 gal of fuel.
