They have built them since the late 70's- early 80's, I know a guy with an early 80's belt drive cutter running a detroit (used to come with a ford I6). They are definately built tough/function over form, basic gauge cluster, pipe caps for fuel and hyd fill caps, and they havent changed the design much over the yrs.

They do turn quick!
 
Hollywood seems to have run out of story lines what with all the re-runs. Forget Texas Chainsaw massacre....
