Had recent 4L80E trans rebuild. Trans would not upshift most of the time. Replaced the speed sensor on transfer case. Trans now shifts ok. Speedo worked inaccurately prior to replacing speed sensor. Now speedo and odometer do not work at all. Has anyone experienced that condition. What were the causes. Thanks for any help.

I haven't had that, but sounds like going over the connections to the vssb/drac is worth while. Sounds like it wasn't the correct one in there, some people swap em not knowing there are different ones.

Standby for a better answer from some real trans guys...
 
Thanks, I checked the connector and it looks good. The speed sensor was purchased from a GM dealer who referenced the part using my VIN number.Hope someone has some experience and replies.
