hey all, As the title states i am GREEN to the entire diesel thing so i am having to read a LOT!!! I bought a 2001 GMC on ebay that has the 6.6 Duramax. It is a 4X4 and came from a contractor that really didnt take care of it, I am cleaning it up and getting it back to its "glory" days of pulling not just wallering in dirt. looking forward to reading posts here!

PS i have been successful in the creation of good quality BioDiesel and having fun making it too!

Welcome! We're glad to have you here..:)

Welcome

Hey I will be new to the diesel world as well in the next month and have been reading alot as well. I will be buying a 06 or 07 duramax LBZ prefferably. I am shopping around for a decient buy and good condition truck. I think it is interesting that you have made your own biodiesel. What does it take to produce the fuel. What type of set up, etc. Can you produce enough to supply yourself with enogh to meet your individual needs?
