I'm a recent oil burner convert. Long time admirer, first time owner kind of thing. So far I'm loving it, getting nearly 20mpg mixed driving, can't wait to get it on a long road trip and see how she does. I picked up my K2500 and am slowly tinkering here and there, fixing what needs fixing (which is mostly cosmetic), and then on to the upgrades as I can horse trade for them. It's already got a turbo master on it, so once I can get some gauges and an opened up exhaust, I can turn her up a little.

Welcome to DTR! A really sharp looking truck you have there. You have come to the right place for any kinda help and info on the 6.5L, plenty of good guys on here. Again, welcome and a very nice truck you have.

Glad to be here. I didn't quite get into the first 1000 members, but got dern close. I'm loving the truck, she's going threw a little bit of maintenance catch up, but I think I'll be greatly rewarded for taking care of her. Next thing is going to be the slight coolant leak (hitting the ground forward of the motor...sigh of relief!)

I find myself looking for excuses to pull stuff now....
