Thanks guys. I could honestly care less about the tailgate, just makes it less desirable to steal I would like to find another p/s door, but same thing; it works.

Goose ball in the bed & a high dent on the outside of the tailgate is uncommon. It's not usually backing in that gets 'em. It's setting the jack(s), unhooking, & forgetting the tailgate up while pulling away that causes the more common outward bowed tailgate.

That is still a very good looking truck.
I wasn't able to find the truck I wanted in NC when I lived there and was shopping for a 6.5. Good on ya.:thumbsup: Timing IS everything.

I don't abuse mine but if it gets dirty or bumped around a bit I comfort my nerves with, "its a truck" and move on to something else with a real priority. Sounds like yours are in order. Enjoy the family, go places, have fun and, as has been said, "Welcome to the site."

um.... How the hell could that happen??? I mean My truck doesn't have a dent above the tailgate handle from backing up to a fifth wheel car hauler........ Nope, never seen it before :mad2:

On the other hand predented is the best feature you can get when purchasing a vehicle, then you don't want to shoot yourself when you do sh*t like that hehe
