Hello, I am happy to find this site. Not a lot of American diesel trucks in Moscow. It is not easy to find information about diesel trucks. Now I have problem with cold start 6,5 Suburban. Old mechanical Chevy Blazer 6,2 starts easily under -26 Degrees Celsius.
 
Welcome, I've been through the Moscow airport a few times :D
Cold start problems: I would say first thing is to check Glow plugs and glow plug relay.
Post over in the 6.5 engine section and you will get alot of help fast!

Thanks for kind words. Usually, I do not have problems with an engine overheat, usually there are problems with cold start.

I tried to find some information about diagnostic of lift pump. Yahoo search has thrown out me on this site.By the way, thanks to this information, I have found that the OPS does not work in my Suburban.
