Did a little rearranging of my gauges this week.

Added the rail pressure gauge to the a-pillar and moved the fuel pressure gauge to the new steering colum pod.

I put the FP gauge on the column because it doesn't move that much, so it's not distracting when I look at the instrument panel.

I was going to put the rail pressure there, but after thinking about how much it was going to be moving, decided to put it on the A-pillar.

Also, got my new 110# Hamilton Diesel valve springs, billet pushrods and ARP rocker studs in yesterday. Gonna install those next weekend.

Time to crank up the boost and turn the RPM's up to 4K.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

It's getting there. A few more pieces and it'll be mostly done..............

Yeah, okay, we all know how that goes.

Gauges look good. They match your gauge cluster.

Yeah, the Dipricol's are the best match to the stock 3rd Gen cluster. There color and lighting is almost spot on.

GmcLbz, where are you located?

I grew up in Albany.

Very nice and clean looking gauges. Do the Diprocols come with a dimmer setup? Most all other gauges (Autometer) are usually so bright they blind you.

Damn, that is a sweet looking interior you have in your Dodge. I too like the way the Dipricol gauges complement the factory cluster.

Yes, if you buy the wiring harness for them (approx $20 for a 2 gauge setup / $30 for a 3 gauge) they come with individual dimmer adjustments for the gauges.

After I took the picture, I had to dim the one on the pod as it was a little overpowering against the rest of the cluster. I had it on the a-pillar before and it was perfect, but putting it there it needed to be turned down a bit.

Then I have them all hooked to the factory dimmer circuit so they dim with the rest of the gauges.

Man...you are so far ahead of me...I'll never catch up...

Very Nice Rig!

My truck sat in the driveway while I was in South America for a year and I just bought a few parts every month or so and when I got home I had a HUGE pile of parts to mess with.

The first thing I did when I got back was drive down to SunCoast to get the tranny done.

After that, complete and total retardation set in and I was like a crack head in a sugar factory.

This spring, the engine is coming out and the bottom end is getting bullet proofed.....ARP main studs and caps, girdle the bottom, balance the crank, pistons are getting coated and billet connecting rods.

Just watch where you buy them from.

Some places seem like they have better prices, but they often don't include everything you need to do a complete install.

The best price I found, for a complete, ready to go setup was at Diesel Manor.

And, if you're military, he gives a 10% discount.

Real good guy to deal with.

Man.....where's all the Cummins fellas at?

I know there is more than just me in here fending for myself.

Tell your Cummins friends where you are, and that you need them to help you fend off all of these GM morons. ):h We are a multi-brand diesel site, but seem to have a preponderance of Dmax and Detroit Diesel guys here right now.

Not yet.

Hoping to get a few hours of dyno time here in January to get everything tuned.

I need to get these valve springs in first so I stop floating the valves and I need to get the mystery switch hooked up so I can lock the TC in 3rd and make sure it doesn't downshift on the dyno.

I'll have that stuff done this weekend.

I've had the top of the motor off so many times I can almost do it sleeping.

Yeah, I'm actually an admin on one of the other sites and it's fairly Cummins heavy over there.

I'm probably one of the few folks that doesn't give a crap what anyone drives.

The only vehicles I truely despise are Civic's. Hate 'em. Will go out of my way to lay a Cloud of Diesel Death on 'em.

Everytime I see a Civic with a fart pipe and stupid whale tail, I just wanna clog there 6X oversized filter with soot.

Looks good Cummins boy I think all of us have a ton of respect for your 6 in a row motors I know I do. Nice truck by the way.

Man, I gotta go get the reinforcements.

You know what they say about us Cummins guys, don't ya?

We keep it straight, everybody else swings both ways.

):h
