Hello new here. My current stable is quite lengthy but my reason for coming here is for better understanding and tech help on my 6.5 turbo diesel. Bought the truck a year and a half ago cheap ,fairly clean and with most inferent 6.5 problems taken care of. Bought to haul wood and possibly do a cummins swap when the time came. After owning the truck for a while now, several things have been replaced or upgraded, most recently a hx35 swap and shortly a rear disc swap. Will be in need of cooling parts shortly, if anyone has dual thermostat housings lying around! Thanks, Mike

Right on ,thanks everyone.
Why do you wanta dual t stat housing? Just curious.

Initial reading told me this was kind of the end all beat all for heat related issues (as did the p.o) Im wanting to swap to the later balance flow and duramax fan and originally i thought the only way to fully accomplish this was with the dual t stat. After my holset swap i am starting to see temp spikes and am needing to do something now, but have seen conflicting info on dual t and balance flow. By temp spikes i mean maybe to 190° on the factory gauge. My truck generally runs 170°.

Hodge podge of pics. Its always working, but the jeep pic is the only work pic i have. Because who has time for photos when theres stuff to be done.

I just responded to your other thread. maybe post there a pic of the crossover you have now. you might already have the most desirable one.
190 is ok and actually gets best mpg there. Never want lower than 160, but I have no issue with someone wanting to keep it cool as possible. I would be really happy with 180 all the time.
