some of you know did the following..
this is my freshed up (03) worn out never bored 305.. at best 300hp.
replaced it with a std bore 454bbc with intake, cam, headers and ingnition system i used on the 305 all went on the 454
this is what get the power to the rear axle
some of you know i am at wyotech.. one of hte class i am taking lets use use a AWD mustang dyno jet or a super flow.
made 3 pulls in the folloing order
on the 3rd pull #7 piston let go.
said rod
i found a used 2bolt .060 over block begining of october..
i cut the crank, re-condition the rods installed arp 3/8" bolts put speed pro hyper 10.5cc dome pistons in. port in polished the 049 heads. increased exhaust vavle form 1.725 to 1.88 left the intake stock 2.065.. both are under cut valves. new balancer, oil pump, same intake as last motor same camshaft spec 208/214* @.050 .475/.500, new pushrods, arp rocker arm studs re-used the comp 1.72 roller tip rockers arp head bolts..
all in all brought my 468 to roughly 9:1
painted the motor semi gloss black.
