Motor mounts - which to use

Looks like your are correct. did some digging into this part. it was replaced by the old GM # 15592501 but was discontinued in 2009 and old stock from GM sold off by 2012. it's a shame AC Delco GM's "aftermarket" oem parts didn't continue making them.
 
something I just thought about on the vibrations.... Mine could possibly be caused by the cab / body mounts. those have never been replaced.

I'm now thinking that using a urethane engine mount along with a good set of rubber cab / body mounts would eliminate a lot of vibrations. I have seen some body mounts that are kinda like a two stage rubber. a top layer of what looks like a soft spongy or springy rubber with a firm rubber layer giving a good shock absorbing ability. Maybe something to look at on your rig is those mounts and their condition.
